This book presents her contemplations on light in its many forms - discussing the interplay of clay, textiles and natural light as well as the philosophical concepts of light and hope. Heringer's reflec- tions as one of the pioneers of sustainable architecture are accompanied here by her work with the women of Dipdii Textiles, whose embroidered sari blankets serve as a common thread throughout the book.
